Jill Jackson has been a Certified Meeting Professional for 20 years and has been managing meetings and events for over 27 years. Her career spans a diverse range of experiences in association, government, and corporate event management, making her a seasoned leader in the field. Jill joined AESA in January 2025, bringing her wealth of knowledge and passion for creating exceptional events.
Jill’s career highlights include working for a corporate event management firm, where she organized events of all sizes across the United States and internationally. She also spent 15 years with an association management firm, overseeing every detail of annual conventions and events for multiple associations.
Her experience extends to government, where she served at the Florida Department of Education’s Just Read, Florida! office, coordinating two large annual K-12 leadership and training conferences. Prior to that, Jill honed her skills at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in convention services, planning events ranging from weddings and receptions to educational workshops, trade shows, and meal events.
Additionally, Jill worked as a Catering Coordinator for Aramark Food Services at Florida State University and spent nine years managing meetings and events for a Florida-based association.
Through her varied roles, Jill has mastered the art of successful event planning, excelling in everything from logistics and catering to leadership and collaboration. Now based in Jacksonville, Florida, Jill enjoys the beach, traveling, music, and creating joyful memories with family and friends.
